This year, a few of the seniors I photographed chose to do two shorter sessions instead of one long session. A couple of those seniors, like Kenzie, chose to do one session in the fall and one in the spring. I LOVED this idea. Not only did it cause them to have much more variety in their images, but it also showed how much they changed from the beginning of the year to the end.
For Kenzie’s spring photos, she suggested that we have the session at Green River Lake. The weather did not cooperate for our originally scheduled date, and with end-of-the-year events beginning, both of us had fairly full calendars. For quite some time now, I have wanted to try a sunrise session but never felt quite brave enough to suggest it to a client. However, after my first session with Kenzie, I knew that she was very open to my suggestions and since our schedules were so full, I thought she might like to get photos finished early in the day so she could enjoy her weekend plans.
Not only was Kenzie totally open to doing a sunrise session, the location she chose was absolutely PERFECT and Kenzie looked completely flawless, even though we met up at 7:00 that morning.
I absolutely adore these photos, and I hope you do too. If you would like to check out Kenzie’s first session with me and learn a bit more about her, click here.
I will miss you next year, Kenzie!
