Those who know me well know that I have a deep love for all things retro, but especially the style of the 1950s and 1960s. I love the way that women dressed and the class they all seemed to exhibit. Those who know me well know that of all things retro that I love, Audrey Hepburn might be the one element of the era that I love most. Why? Because Audrey Hepburn was, above all, a classy lady with beauty and poise that went unmatched.
Why am I talking about Audrey Hepburn in my post of Renate’s session? Because Renate might be one of the classiest ladies I have had the honor to meet in quite some time, and although she doesn’t really resemble Audrey Hepburn in the least, I think I loved working with Renate so much because she reminded me of her so much.
Renate is classy, beautiful, and poised, and I have decided that if I could trade eyes with anyone in this world, I would trade with Renate. Renate reinforced my love for shooting high school seniors, and I hope you enjoy the photos below as much as I do.
Special thanks to my amazing friends at Junk Pony for allowing us to use their store for some of the shots in this session!
