Katie & Sean

I can only hope that all of my wedding parties are half as fun as Katie and Sean’s were.  I mean, what else could  a photographer ask for than an awesome couple and bridal party who keeps her laughing the entire day?  How about an absolutely gorgeous location? Well, Katie and Sean’s wedding provided that too.

Katie, Sean, and their families and friends were all incredibly kind to me throughout the day and made me feel like I should have been there as a guest and not as the photographer, because I felt like I had known them for a lifetime. The day itself was full of great memories that I will carry with me throughout my career as a photographer.  I will never forget the smile on Sean’s face when he heard Katie’s voice for the first time that day, or the undeniable joy on BOTH their faces when they saw one another for the first time.  I will never forget the moment when Katie’s dad saw her in her wedding dress–there was not a single dry eye among any of us who witnessed that moment–or the moment they danced together at the reception and I cried behind my camera.  I will never forget the absolutely hilarious stories told by Katie’s bridesmaids in the RV where they got ready for the day and how I thought I might fall in the floor from laughter, or the moment I drove a golf cart for the first time–with all of them loaded on the cart with me.

Most of all, however, I will never forget the undeniable love that Katie and Sean have for each other.  It was an incredible thing to witness, and I’m so blessed that they chose me to be a part of such an important day.

Special thanks to Cave Hill Vineyard for being so accommodating and the videographers, Zack Grider and Zach Smith, for being awesome to work with as well!
